Overview

Remember respects your privacy. The app is designed for personal use. Anonymous accounts are created automatically when the app starts. You may optionally link Google or Apple to enable cloud backup. Where you choose to upload backups, your backup ZIP files are stored in Firebase Storage and related metadata is stored in Firestore.

Data we process

Account identifiers: Firebase Authentication user (anonymous by default; optionally linked to Google or Apple).
Your content: memories, diary entries, daily answers, photos, voice notes, and in‑app preferences.
Cloud backups (optional): backup ZIPs you upload to Firebase Storage and backup metadata in Firestore.
Subscriptions: revenue entitlements and purchase metadata via RevenueCat and the app stores. We do not receive your full card details.
Analytics and ads: Firebase Analytics events; AdMob for advertising. These services may collect device and app usage data as described in their policies.
Notifications: Expo/Firebase push tokens to deliver notifications to your device.
Referral/social data: limited data used to provide referral features.

Improve the app via analytics and ensure service integrity, including basic fraud and abuse prevention

Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

To request deletion, follow the steps on our Delete Account page. We aim to process verified requests within 30 days.

Your choices

You can use Remember without linking a Google or Apple account (local use with an anonymous account).
You can link Google or Apple to enable cloud backup.
